if you're a normal, school-going Victorian you would have noticed the recent trend in school. yes, im referring to the transition [metal?!] of our humble vj local monopoly [aka the photocopy shop] into the new orchard road! in fact i think its more hip and happening than orchard road. soon we're gonna be taking our barcadi to outside the photocopy shop to drink. boys and girls alike flock to the shop every day to have a gander, or as we like to say, to look see look see. and some even visit more than once a day. push open the door and besides the free radicals escaping, all you can see is a swarm of people in beige at the counter, and people standing behind the people at the counter, and people who are friends of the people at the counter or behind all hanging around. its even more crowded then orchard, and its equally crowded no matter what time you go. trash orchard hands down alr. we're all doing our best to make friends with the two photocopy aunties and hopefully get their no so they can call us when the next batch of papers are in. and how can i forget that piece of paper we all treat as gold? the one stuck to the counter that everybody checks out first when they step in. every day, vj people lug home stacks and stacks of so-fresh-you-can-still-smell-the-radicals paper, held together with the trusty HP paper that is totally unbreakable. or should i say malleable and ductile. we're like hyenas inside the shop la. eyeing all the things we can buy as if its free or sth. but well, what we do with the stacks and stacks once we get home is a totally different story.
good for you if you can recognise all the concepts in the above paragraph. if not, add some 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine and see if you get orange ppt.
cheers.
